What belongs in a weekly treasury pack — and what does not
Weekly packs should answer controllers’ questions in fifteen minutes. Market color and trading P&L belong elsewhere.
A useful weekly pack for institutional treasury monitoring is short: opening balances by venue, movements above threshold, open exceptions, and owners for each open item. Anything else dilutes the meeting.
Leave out the noise
Price charts, social narratives, and trading desk P&L confuse the purpose. Mining CFOs who engage Scalable SVC already have market views; they hire us for reconciliation discipline.
Length discipline
If the pack needs more than eight pages, the venue inventory is probably still dirty. Fix mapping first; then monitoring stays readable.
After the call
Exceptions either close, escalate with a named owner, or become a documented gap (for example, a venue without exports). Open items without owners reappear next week — by design.
