What operators say after working with our desk

Notes from mining finance leads and digital asset treasurers who used Scalable SVC for Crypto Portfolio Desktop monitoring and related reviews.

“We already knew our cold storage totals. What changed was seeing pool receivables and three exchange accounts in the same morning pack — our auditor stopped asking for screenshots.”

— Finance lead, ASIC mining group, Incheon · Institutional treasury monitoring

“Setup took longer than we hoped because our OTC blotter was a mess. Once cleaned, the weekly call with Scalable SVC caught a misrouted withdrawal before settlement. I would still want clearer documentation on alert ownership inside our own team.”

— Treasury coordinator, digital asset operator, Seoul · Institutional treasury monitoring

“The mining portfolio review showed we were booking pool payouts two days early. That single finding paid for the engagement before we even talked about ongoing monitoring.”

— Controller, mid-size mining firm, Busan · Mining portfolio review

“Exchange exposure check was straightforward. They listed every account we had forgotten to include in insurance schedules, including a dormant futures wallet.”

— Risk officer, digital asset trading desk · Exchange exposure check

Two engagements in detail

Incheon ASIC group — first ninety days of monitoring

The finance lead arrived with clean cold-storage totals and messy pool timing. During setup we aligned payout recognition to when coins hit labeled wallets, not when the pool UI showed “pending.” By week six, their auditor accepted the morning pack as the working paper for exchange balances. The mild friction: alert emails initially went to three people; we later narrowed ownership to one controller after a false-positive week.

Seoul digital asset operator — OTC blotter cleanup

Before institutional treasury monitoring could start, unsettled OTC tickets lacked counterparty IDs. The engagement paused for nine days while their team rebuilt the blotter. Once resumed, a weekly review flagged a withdrawal routed to an address outside the approved list. They kept monitoring; they also asked us to document alert ownership more clearly inside their org chart — a fair request we now raise in every kickoff.
